Refra-System Ltd. was established 23 years ago by Hungarian individuals. In November 1989 the basic idea was to provide new services and products for the Hungarian refractory industry. In the first ten years we have supplied many factories with mortars and mixes. During the late 90’s we have extended the profile of the company with refractory waste recycling to supply our customers with the highest quality refractory. We are constantly improving our production capacity and technology to fulfill our partners’ various requirements. 2007 we have renewed the crushing and sieving line to reach the present production level. We have bought a fine milling and classifying facility January 2008 to offer wider range of products to our customers. The most important milestone in our company’s life was, that we have been subventioned in an EU tender for the development of a fusing technology. The main products are white fused alumina and brilliant white mullite. We have continued our development story and in 2011 built a new arc furnace for special casted shapes for wear resistant applications. Zirhard product range is perfect where the high wear and high temperature meets. This smaller furnace let us offer an R&D service too. We can make special composites in an industrial size from 200 kg up to 20 tons to offer you the possibility to try at industrial quantity what you have made in your lab. In 2012 we extended our White Fused Alumina’s product range to microgrits. We can offer you from F240 to F1200 a FEPA standard grains or fit to your requirements.
